Scottish Export brewed with locally foraged spruce tips and fermented with wild yeast. Deep copper in colour with an off-white head, this mixed ferm beer is built on a foundation of Maris Otter and Aromatic malts. The sweet, caramel-biscuit base continues to define this beer but is now partnered with powerful pine-citrus and funky, fruity brett flavours following a year-long maturation with spruce tips and our house culture of wild yeast strains. Sour cola with lime; subtle earthy and herbal notes; soft and smooth with tingly bitterness and a long, clean finish; this is as complex and unexpected as you’d expect.
