The perfect antidote after all the festive indulgences, a Cup O’Kindness is our ode to The Bard and a great way to see in the New Year.  As big nerdy fans of Bramling Cross it feels good to showcase the hop in all its glory. By pushing the limits of the whirlpool hop addition the blackcurrant leaf and jam flavours really pop! The hedgerow and spicy lilting bitterness is another bonus of the UK varietal. And when paired with Challenger as the main bittering hop the mildly spicy bitterness builds up beautifully.  Pair Bramling Cross with a sweet golden ale grist with a touch of speciality crystal malt, and ferment out with Voss Kveik, then watch the magic happen. Bramble pie and lemon drizzle cake comes to mind with a sprinkling of Winter spices. However, it’s not a dessert: it is quite far from being a dry ale and holds a medium bodied, creamy-oaty smoothness. Lovely, fruity and delicious! A bit of zing and whole lot of refreshment.
