Artistraw cider is made from apples and apples only with fruit gathered carefully by hand from wild old orchards, long forgotten by humans but beloved by bird and beast. Deep roots plough the rich red soil made fertile by worms, reaching down to extract complex nutrients to swell fruit come autumn. To be a natural cider maker is to surrender to nature’s rhythms. The schedule of the natural cider maker will forever belong to the orchard where conventional time has no place.
