Le CLOS ORCHARD

Le Clas is Naughton Cider Company's purest expression, created from a single orchard and vintage. This 0.35 hectare, south facing orchard has been protected by its wall since 1900, ensuring perfect ripeness  

Fermented and aged in ex-champagne barrels for 10 months, the cider matures for a further 44 months in bottle, developing exceptional depth and complexity. Le Clos 2020 shines bright gold with a stream of tiny bubbles.  

Nose: Elegant, rich and deep. Notes of almond, lemon rind, candied apple.

Palate: crisp bright and rich. Notes of green apple, toffee, vanilla, sea salt, honey and blackcurrant. 

Finish: Bright, saline, complex acidity. Lime pee/ with ripe fruit, spices and hers.
