CIDER SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NOW POURING

  • Product Info

Our latest single variety vintage of one of our favourite apples, this latest Bisquet is
reminiscent of the 2022 vintage with higher amounts of natural sugar than the 2023 vintage bringing all of that tropical pineapple flavour to the fore. With enough tannin to keep it interesting, this is a delicious, mouth-watering introduction to our natural fine cider.

    Food pairing suggestions
With a vibrant flavour reminiscent of pineapple, this rich, unctuous cider pairs beautifully with soft blue cheese.

    The story behind the cider
In the Summer of 2021 we learned a startling fact. Michelin, the widely planted, famous cider apple, was not in fact Michelin. The apple we all knew and loved had been wrongly named ever since it was brought to these shores from France by the pomologist Henri Michelin in 1883. It turns out that this gentleman’s name had stuck and the apple’s true name was
forgotten until recent DNA testing uncovered the mistake! So may we present to you, in its true form, Bisquet, the apple formerly known as Michelin!
